There's a lot that's better.

Check out The Firstborn is Dead, Let Love In, No More Shall We Part, and The Boatman's Call.

Captain Beefheart And The Magic Band-Trout Mask Replica
Decided to take the plunge and download it.I fear what lies within based on descriptions.

I got that a while ago, gave it a short listen and couldn't really get into it. However it think it's the type of thing that takes time, and it's my first Beefheart album besides The Mirror Man Sessions.

The last CD I down loaded was "All In" by Turk Littles. He is a new artist w/ alot of musical history. Such as he worked w/ Curtis Mayfield and Chakah Kahn. I LOVE his music! You can check his stuff out via twitter justlook under Turk Littles.:band::band:

Speaking purely from my own point of view, And No More Shall We Part is absolutely sublime... slower. more measure, mellow, loads of piano and strings, and increidble poetry for lyrics.... I am constantly enamoured by it, I can get completely lost in that album.

i disagree. Nick Cave might have mellowed out towards the latter half of his career but the first part with the Birthday Party was just as excellent. Junkyard & Prayers on Fire can contend with any of the material he's put out since then. it might be more challenging but it's just as rich and rewarding a sonic experience as his latter works with the Bad Seeds.
