I've never heard their previous albums. Do you have any in mind I should listen to after this one?

I actually enjoy all of them, some more than others. They have 8 albums so you should be good for awhile.

Always acquainted with this record, just never actually listened to it. So far, I like it.

David Bowie - Hunky Dory

Filling in the gaps in my Bowie collection.

Rokia Traoré - Beautiful Africa

Traoré's new album is more rock-based than previous releases & sounds gorgeous.

Just decided to get into the Kinks.

First two CD's I bought and listened to are (abbreviated)

Village Green
Lola versus Powerman

They are both fantastic. I'm feeling like I've missed out on something good only because of the substandard greatest hits set I owned that never let me appreciate the band and their low profile in the U.S. vs. their contemporaries.

Savoir Adore - In The Wooded Forest
I love it when you hear an album and you haven't got a clue what the next track sounds like and this is just that album. I also hate weird for weird sake and this is nothing like that. There's Rock, Indie, Electro Pop a smattering of Blues, Americana and much more. It's like Arcade Fire but much more fun. Very impressed.

Tesseract - Altered State
Silversun Pickups but a little heavier and proggier which is no bad thing at all.

Dub Zealand - need I say more? A quality comp of tunes without STEP after the Dub which is refreshing.

Very decent.

Sounds cool, I'll check that out.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Roy Ayers - Coffy O.S.T.
I like a good blaxploitation movie soundtrack from time to time.

Ex Wife - New Colors
Shoegazery noise rock thing that sounds like a cross between Echo & The Bunnymen & Nirvana.
