You look very unamused.

There's nothing wrong with little clubs, it's preferable to stadiums I guess, but there was just an unpleasant aura about the place I've been to, just a bunch of drunk guys and kids moshing and stuff, it smelled bad, security guys were freaking tools and the music was way too f*cking loud. All the bands were emo/post hardcore stuff and even if I liked that sort of thing (I don't) I still wouldn't have enjoyed it because the decibel level was absolutely painful. I was just standing there waiting for the show to end.

To make matters worse my stepdad at the time got wasted and was a total d bag, he picked a fight with me on the way back because I wanted mom to drop me home instead of spending the night, I pretty much refused to a spend a night with that assh*le. Also, I was sick for like a month.

Here's a photo of me from that show.

I'm the one on the far right, not a happy camper. Concerts just aren't my thing.
I will vouch for you there, Senses Fail are awful live. One of my worst concerts for sure.

Hehe. Yeah, i dont get that.

As for me, its really hard to say but the ones that come to mind right away are Trivium (who i walked out on, they are still the only band I havent watched to the end of ther set), The Distillers who I caught at a festival and were absolutely dreadful and also I recall a HIM gig in my teens that I stood at the bar throughout. I even spent most of it even facing the other way as it turned out.

Cake

i hate it when bands encourage the audience to sing along. i paid to hear the band, not a bunch of jackass fans.

at the end of Take It All Away, the band had the audience singing that Na Na Na chorus over and over for a good 5 minutes. it was infuriating.

but Modest Mouse and Flaming Lips opened for them, so i still got my money's worth

I agree to a degree. Especially on live recordings. Crowds ruin concerts. Although you have to admit, it is fun to sing along at a concert. If I knew the words, it would be tough to keep my mouth shut.

I don't mind the singing along and stuff but what really gets me at concerts are the kids who try to mosh or hardcore dance to music that is not even close or meant to be moshed or hardcore danced too. i.e. A few kids trying to mosh at a concert for The Fray.

No this is a true fact. I didn't believe me either.
