Did you hear Nicolas Jaar's Cenizas yet? Hasn't quite connected with me yet (haven't given it much time tbf) but it's a pretty singular approach to ambient whose only reference point I can nail down is that it's influenced by some of the ideas that Arca was playing with on her s/t.

And while it's not necessarily ambient or drone, death industrial acts a la Puce Mary might scratch the same itch that dark ambient does for you. You can always catch up on what KK Null is doing too.
