Hip hop is the most diverse genre. Not an opinion an unpopular fact.

Nah, hip hop is definitely not the most diverse genre by any stretch of the imagination. Compared to jazz or rock it's downright samey.

No, it's more diverse than the others. Every other genre has an instrumental template they follow while Hip hop has none set in stone. It takes from other genres and can still be hip hop. It does it in a way that no other genre is able to do. Why it's my favorite genre, it feels the most free to me.

Hip hop is a sub-genre under rock'n'roll so therefore rock'n'roll is more diverse.

it does branch off into more subs here than electronic or rock though, but still, they're all huge and there's no comparison. Diversity within certain genres is always going to have different criteria than others.
