Damn, LOVE the vibe and groove of the guitars on this!

1. Buying this right now.
2. Creating a Kemper rig to cop the tones.
3. Slamming a bit harder on the low B of my 7 string.

Definition: Loud and harsh sounding rock music with a strong beat.

Hey, leave Blank alone. I have fond memories of being embarassed in public due to his avatar choices.

I've probably got more of an attraction towards "emotional" vocals than most people on this board will admit, but wouldn't you say that the vocals on this album have a very appealing melancholy aeshtetic to them?
I'm listening to this album for the first time ever today, and I feel like the vocals are simply gorgeous. I feel ashamed that I have dismissed this band before - because I have done so.

I would say that I don't like emotive vocals only because a lot of what falls under that umbrella is just soooooooo contrived but I agree that the vocals on that album hit very hard.

I'm going to leave the embarrassing poetry alone. Everyone has their opinions. But what I will say is that I ask people to come in and judge it to help me out. I've never once seen you come into my poetry thread to make suggestions. The only time you ever commented was to say it was bad and gave no constructive criticism.

Where is the alcohol coming from? I drink once a month at the most. Hell, I don't even talk about my alcohol consumption.

My perception of a real man? You mean that joke I probably over use to make fun of the ridiculous notions of what constitutes being a man. So my inability to live up to it is because I don't try to live up to it or any preconceived bulshit ideologies of a "real man".

When I made that first post I'd only listened to a few minutes of instrumental stuff.

After hearing the rest of the album I 100% agree with you.

EDIT: Frown, from where I sit (and listen), this might be the best music rec you've made.

Reverend Bizarre? They love to explore doom in the most fun way, from trad doom, to stoner doom, to more droney ****, but always with a sense of fun and joy, even when they're going into more morose territory. I kind of see them as the best pure doom band of all-time. And damn dey got good riffs.
