I don't understand people who are engaged by Kitty. She's so unengaging that I can only assume that boring people are engaged by someone as worthless as they are.

You're not supposed to take her seriously, you numb nut. She's self consciously ridiculous. You're just supposed to sing along to it in your car when nobody's looking.

And she makes far better and more consistent pop music than pretty much all of her contemporaries, and her trashy-party-girl-to-the-nth-degree, white girl pseudo-rapping persona is a style all her own. I love that bitch.

I'm not trying to take her seriously, the music just doesn't engage me on any level, even that mindless level of pop music. It sounds like someone trying to make music in their bedroom and failing to be fun even on the level of a bedroom non-artist.

There are so many songs of hers that are perfect pop songs. She's just got such a perfect persona that it overcomes any deficiencies she might have as a songwriter, which are surprisingly small.

Seriously though, Frostbite is one of the best pop albums ever. It's not as creative as Madonna at her best, but it's just so ****ing solid. Listen to it and know brilliance. It's godlike. Seriously, give the whole thing a listen and we'll be be brothers in Kitty, defending her against all comers. She's a pop goddess.
