I don't really use that as a criticism so I don't have examples.

My definition of cringe is stuff that's super self conscious sounding...AKA a lot of punk and pretentious experimental noise falls into this category. Compared to that, DT's take on prog-metal might as well be Mozart.

It's a really stupid term overall though, just like "hate speech": can be applied to practically anything you don't like.
