Jason Newsted was the best bassist to play in Metallica, you just wouldn't know with the way the screwed him over sonically

I agree. Hate on Load and ReLoad all you want, but Jason played some fine bass on those albums.

Ja his talent was squandered with the group. Cliff still made the best music with them though.
