I don't know what "pulling an OH" means, I was just curious.

I'd say all 3 of the bands you mentioned are critically and commercially successful and respected. Time will tell what will happen with Phoebe but at the moment I don't think she can be mentioned in the same conversation as any of those bands...or Radiohead.

But anyway, just my opinion of course...

The last Important Rock Movement was actually emo, but that's only because of a decline in monoculture than a shift in the quality of music. Might as well be complaining about a lack of innovative trends in telegraphic shorthand.

What does 'mention in the same conversation' even mean. Keep in mind I never claimed Phoebe is as good as any of those bands.

Nah, the average person knows Radiohead but not the Flaming Lips. And when it comes to innovation, sure, but I think all those others are just make better music.

The white stripes are more accessible, but I think they hold up better than radiohead when you get more into music. And Sleater-Kinney > all of them
