google: ZEPPELIN GEORGE HARRISON

You'll get literally dozens of hits from various published articles about it from through the years. First one I clicked on:

You'd be hard pressed to find a person more well read and researched on all things LZ than me. Been an unhealthy (and expensive) obsession for over 50 years.

I won't post anything Zep unless I've read about it many times from many different sources.

The Harrison FACT is easy since it's from a Jimmy Page interview that's been reprinted countless times since it was first published in the 70s.

yeah, ok, I know how it feels and I kind of admire it.

What I don't understand is how does it affect anything I said?

Yoko's music is actually pretty cool, if you're into Krautrock and Captain Beefheart you should at least give her first two albums a chance.

You referred to the story as basically rubbish. It's clearly not.

Also not sure why you're having issues with the 'inspired by' bit. Harrison comments to Bonham about ballads. Bonham tells Page and Page decides to write a ballad, and in a nod to George, uses his opening two chords from 'Something'.

Didn't say either guy invented the progression or that it's a difficult bit.

I got another cool story about Harrison and Led Zeppelin/John Bonham if you're interested.

And I'm with Boo. If you are really into Beefheart you should at least 'appreciate' Yoko - even if it's not at all your taste.

Yoko and Patton are similarly mid entry points for extended vocal techniques.
