Sure, I can think of many artists it applies to and I fail to see the problem with it. If you want variation then listen to more than one artist, it's not that hard.

Some artists have one highly specialized skill and it's basically all they know, like sushi chefs who go through years of intense training and they never had time to learn how to cook anything else.

I don't know that I disagree, but I was testing your position I guess.

The thing I don't get is the "They should have stopped making music after [ALBUM]." That one gets me because it doesn't change the past, so who cares. Mind you I have different levels of tolerance. Green Day is getting worse, Weezer is hit or miss, and Metallica - who had Bob Dylan in the 80s-levels of bad from 2000-2010 - are off the ropes with the last two albums being really solid.

You think some variation of the 14 words instead, right?

Blind Guardian are actually a terrible power metal band but from Nightfall in Middle-Earth to A Night at the Opera were a brilliant prog metal band and ever since have been a terrible jukebox version of their bland power metal with their actual good qualities keeping them above water.

I can't listen to Queen.

They have great songs and clearly a ****load of talent, but the production of their music sounds like the worst kitsch 80s music possible

I was with family the other night and they were all really excited that "Somebody to Love" came on the radio. I hadn't heard that song in like 20 years.

The part towards the end where Fred goes "Somebody toooooooooooooooooo....luuuhhhhhh uhhh uhhh ohhh uhh uhhhhhhhhhhhhve"

DUMBEST SH*T EVER.

I was fighting my in laws over it. I was like if you heard that sh*t in any other song you'd hate it.
