For them to only like MBV out of all the Indie music out there is a bit bizzare. But then again they like pop punk.

MBV are an acquired taste, I Only Said and Sometimes are just brilliant songs.

I think Sometimes is one of the most dragged out and milked songs on the album. I'm sure they woul like more indie music if they were exposed to some more.

I only said is probably the best though.

To Here Knows When wipes the floor with any other track on Loveless. Sometimes is nice and all, I actually really do enjoy it for late-night drives.

I think Justin Bieber is barely a problem to music when placed alongside Wavves.

I don't see the appeal with Wavves either, nor do I understand his motive or if he actually enjoys what he is doing.

Pfffft. Sometimes is a brilliant song. I'm appalled at the lack of love for it.

Sometimes was the song that got me hooked on MBV, there's no shortage of love for it. It's probably still my favourite MBV tune.

I definitely think Loveless doesn't have a flawed song (omgomgpitchforkradargoingcrazy!). Sometimes is in my Top 5 tracks for Loveless likely, just can't compete with how unbelievably unique and compelling the sound of To Here Knows When is. I mean, what better represents the feeling of floating around the speakers?

These are just stupid.

One thing to have a challenging opinion and another to write off whole genres.

To say 99% of indie and most underground hip hop is bad is ridiculous.

And pop punk is by no means superior to punk, unless you count The Buzzc0cks as pop punk, a lot of punk rock is fun, you gotta know where to look.

When I listen to Blink 182 or whatever I'm not really having fun, though I realse it's "supposed" to be fun.

It's still a really stupid thing to say.

I think Creed are awesome and "Weathered" is a five star album. I didn't realise this opinion was "Unpopular" until I joined this forum :p

also, am I the only person on this forum who realises that "Indie" isn't a particular sound but the abbreviation of the word "Independent" meaning one who is signed to an independent record label. It never has been a genre and I don't see why it's regarded as one now, maybe ebcause a bunch of bands who sound alike have surfaced and all been labelled as "Indie" but I'm tired of people calling bands "Indie" when they're signed to a major record label.
