I just never got into The Fall, I've only listened to This Nation's Saving Grace and never really took to it.

Though I lived near where they formed, for a time. I might listen to This Nation's Saving Grace again. Been a while since I tried it out.
The Fall sound different with every album, you can't base your opinion on just one.

Track 3 in and I like it more than I remembered. Can't tell a f*cking word Mark E Smith's saying though.

Best 4 or 5 Fall albums then? I'll make a point of listening to them and reporting back! They have a mahoosive discography.

Even if you don`t like the music. Are you not impressed with the voice of Ian Curtis?

It's literally different for everyone but mine
Hex Induction Hour
Slates
The Real New Fall LP
Live At The Witch Trials
The Wonderful And Frightening World Of The Fall

That's probably the hardest list I've ever done on this site.

I'm enjoying The Nation's Saving Grace more than I last heard it. Why is Mark E Smith impossible to make out?! I can just about make out the odd work now and again. I might try 'The Wonderful And Frightening World Of The Fall' next, I've only heard good things about that album.

It's the most accessible.

I have to say his voice was actually something that turned me off about Joy Division when I first heard them.

I was lucky my first JD track was She's Lost Control, his voice in Love Will Tear Us Apart is rather unappealing
