And I agree about wishing I got into this stuff much earlier. I think part of the problem was I didn't have any siblings or friends who exposed me to a lot of music.

Dayvan if you want to show up all your friends with something they don't know shit about work your way through that list of avant-garde metal bands I gave you, hell I can even get you the links. By the time you're through with that, you'll know more about Scandinavian metal than any of your friends and then you can critique all the metal bands they name.

I listened to the album you sent me, and I liked it, but I probably won't be able to download much anymore because some serious bandwidth hogging is going on.

If that second thing refers to me (and it probably does); I'm in the same 'age range' as she is. It was meant as a comparison rather than a compliment (also because I don't think mainstream music necessarily sucks).
