Logically, you guys got me.
The thing is, I don't really see how The Beatles changed the sound of music. I mean, rock and pop existed before this. Yes, they had some innovations, but really... I'd like someone to clarify this. Being that I'm not a very big Beatles fan, I haven't done all my research. |
Huge innovations in the studio, especially on Abbey Road/Sgt. Peppers, they set the table for both metal and psychedelia to explode with Tomorrow Never Knows and Helter Skelter, and they basically inspired many a musician for generations afterward. Still are in fact.

I find that At The Drive-In is unlistenably bad sounding. I guess that might not be the most obscure of opinions, but it certainly puts me in the minority on MB.

This will be unpopular...OASIS ALBUMS VOTED TOP IN NEW POLL

That's a pretty ****e list.

Yep Q mag readers strike again!

I think the worst thing about that list is the fact the utter shit that is Keane beat the Queen is Dead.
And how the **** did Coldplay beat Joy Division? |

I can sort of see how you would think that, though. Their music is really out there. I love it though. It gets to me, and inspires me. I like the whole sound and feel, and it's catchy as hell (One Armed Scissor, Invalid Litter Dept). Quote:
London Calling should be higher. 7 isn't good enough! :usehead: |
