I am speaking right now and in terms of her music overall and her overall talent not just for that particular album.

Her catalog, voice, songwriting etc.

She is not an icon but a very memorable talent that had the potential to be one

someone needs to break it to her/he/it that amy only released two studio albums while she was alive and the fact that back to black got such good reviews mean critics were indeed praising her voice and songwriting lol

i'm calling you a troll because you just blatantly ignore facts and spout complete nonsense in basically every post you make and i have no clue why you're still on this forum because no one agrees with anything you say or seems to think highly of your opinions, which means you clearly just stick around to annoy people. that's the makings of a troll.

there's a difference between an "unpopular" opinion and an 'opinion' that's just literally factually incorrect, given that Amy Winehouse is absolutely not underrated in this or any universe

Well there is really no bases for you to call me a troll because I am not stating a fact and even if I was stating a "fact" there is still no reason to call me that when I have not personally attacked you or done anything to you.

If people disagree with my opinions thats them.. that has nothing to do with me. I disagree with alot of people on here that doesnt make them a troll or mean they need to leave the forum. Thats a very snobbish and immature attitude.

R&B was established and coined around late 1940's and influenced and pioneered a long time before that. 1930's (possibly before) or so by "African-American music" from what they called it at the time. Soul rose to recognition in 1950's which was pioneered by gospel and R&B music (was initially described as a combination). So I don't know where you came up with that.
