Google even if you don't like the albums as a whole - Pyramid Song and Life In A Glasshouse from Amnesiac and The Book Of Soul from Control System are incredible songs. No?

I wouldn't put myself through that as well. No chance.

I don't remember song titles very well, but I didn't hate all of it so I guess those two may very well have been decent songs.

And I'll put that Ab-Soul track on now. Here's some live reactions:

- He doesn't pull off the roller coaster rhyme scheme when he tries it.

- Beat becoming a little repetitive but it's fine.

- I don't care much for personal story tracks.

- Oh that awful pause before he says "shine".

- Obligatory Kurt Cobain reference.

- Rhymes TV and Radio with TV and Radio.

Incredible? No, sorry mate.

What? Why?

So you didn't like that one track by Jon Connor about those jobs he worked at.

"Doin' my job" I think it was called.

There's just so much emotion in that Ab-Soul track. Possibly the most emotion I have ever heard in a rap song. When his voice cracks when he says 'fall of a ****ing tower trynna find you' I actually just collapse. (His gf jumped off a tower and killed herself)

Come on man, you know there's going to be exceptions, and that it depends on if I like the story/production/lyrics more than others. I probably shouldn't have put it across that way to be honest though.

Fyi, I did like that Jon Connor song, but that was in the midst of an album that I loved.

Yeah the story is sad. I was actually on twitter when the news was breaking, leading me to check his tweets to her sister (I think) before the news was broke.

But I don't feel it from him. He doesn't make me emotionally invested in what he is saying.

I love that track but I do think he is the worst rapper in Black Hippy. Although his outro is possibly my favourite track on Section 80 so he definitely has something.
