Me either

A lot of people make his style of music a lot better in my opinion.

For whatever reason a lot of people here feel that way

In fact I don't know anyone who is a huge fan of either

But they must exist because those acts pull in huge numbers and critical acclaim.

Van Halen should've broken up thirty six years ago.

Lol not here you're not.

I love U2, though I don't like anything after Atchung Baby. Not a big Springsteen fan but I think Born to Run and and Nebraska are great albums.

Joke? They weren't even around that long.

I'd say they should have broken up when DLR left.

I like some of Springstein's songs but I am not a fan of his voice... the straining (pinching a loaf) sound doesn't do anything for me.

U2 I dig... they've had some pretty bad moments in the 90's (most of Zooropa and all of Pop) but I think as a band they are very unique and will be around for a long time. I used to think Edge was the worst guitar player when I was 16 but now I really appreciate what he brings to the table. He never goes overboard and his guitar work always suits the music perfectly.

You didn't care for "how to dismantle an atomic bomb"? I thought there were some clever tracks on that album.

What's your favorite U2 album?

Joshua Tree. Love that whole album.

Atchung Baby is a close second though.
