I always thought that Princess dance choreography was rated just as high as any other major artists in the industry.

If I was to suggest anything that is possibly underrated by Prince it would be his work as a music producer in the studio. Still even then, its mostly just being overlooked by the fans of Prince more so than recognition from the industry itself.

I would disagree along with Duga. Prince has always been a burning inferno when it came to guitar showmanship. He also does very well on the keyboards and is amazing dancer. I wouldn't call it choregraphy as much as I would call his dancing sporadic enthusiasm and just plain energy.

I dont think Prince is a great dancer but I meant in terms of the recognition he receives from the music industry itself.

I know award shows and critic opinions does not matter but it appears the industry only acknowledges him as a musician and related components to that such as producer, arranger etc. He hardly ever gets acknowledged or awarded for being an entertainer.

While Prince never really focused much on music videos, he always had stellar performances which I think warrants the title of an entertainer whether he is dancing on stage or not.

Not true i still remember him wearing those assless pants and showing his butt to the audience.

just like i remember MJ doing the moonwalk or James Brown getting a royal cape at the end of his performance, i actually know more of Prince as an entertainer than as a musician cause i don't buy his cds but ive seen his vids and his live performances and i liked them..

So he is recognised as an entertainer just not as the best one.

The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley are nowhere near as good as people make them out to be.
Oh, and I don't get Pink Floyd at all.
