It's more your style, I guess. Things change when you grow up being exposed to music that attempts something new and interesting instead of the same safe and boring bull**** that everyone else is doing.

I hate when people insult music without even listening to it. Good on you for making a meme and running with it though.

Might not call it boring, but it's certainly not enjoyable to me.

Well that's a much more fair assessment.

Ya, because all I ever listened to growing up was virtuoso guitar rock instrumentals.

I've listened to your clips as well as a lot of the YT vides you post of stuff you claim to like so once again you fail with your comeback.

Stop being so obtuse when it comes to music discussion.

You might have heard it but the way that you depict it makes me believe that you didn't listen. Huge difference.

You don't think that there's any possibility that you're blinded by nostalgia?

If that were the case, I wouldn't be saying it isn't boring.

Just fyi, saying something isn't your taste and saying something is boring is two different things.

Things that aren't to my taste generally bore me, so they've become synonymous.

And did you start to get into those artists at formative times in your music listening career?

It was a part of my listening career when I started to branch out a bit and listen to things I've never really been familiar with. I was recommended solo guitar acts, and since then I've been attached.

I don't see how that would be relevant seeing as everybody goes through phases, and to say that an earlier phase of listening career has anything to do with how boring it can be is just a silly accusation.

I know when I find something boring, and that usually means I'll never listen to that music again.

Yes, yes it would be. However, it might explain why someone might be baffled by criticisms of something that they've known well for several years.
