I've never watched any episodes of the original Star Trek series. I need to do so. It looks so adorably dorky.

It's the ****. It's where it all started. Just avoid the original pilot (the one without William Shatner) like the plague, or at least come back to it after you've been able to appreciate the series as it was. I can provide you with a list of great episodes if you want; almost all of them can be watched standalone, as back then the only arc they knew of was in arc welding...

I love many songs when the singer starts babbling nonsense just to make music with his voice. For case this song at 3:16

I suspect that to make great music, you need to pretend that the instrument is somebody's voice.

I think that rejecting music just because is unconventional is foolish. Is like just denying yourself a fount of pleasure. But that doesn't means that you should enjoy anything because you decide to hear it.

I do not decide what I like. Is just out of my power. So, on rare occasions, I like a single song from an entire genre, which otherwise I hate.

In one sense it’s impossible and another sense it’s unavoidable.

That’s what’s so ****ing amazing about Colin Stetson. His playing pretty much exists outside of the Coltrane paradigm.
