I could so possibly care less when people post those.

In those threads I just post Youtube videos with no explanation because I hope the music will speak for itself. Now that requires people to actually click "play", which is a stretch.

"Oh man I love this album.

"

This and what Janz said are two of the most annoying things about the album threads.

Well usually when you post on a music forum, the whole point is to y'know...talk about music. I'm also less likely to take a rec from someone that can't even give a sentence or two about the album they supposedly enjoy.

*after search*

"Not a big fan of that album. What do you think?"

Etc.

In those threads I see fifty videos posted a day and am not going to click on some arbitrary video when I have the entire rest of the internet to take up my short attention span. Give me something to be interested in.

I know I'm guilty of posting random album covers with no commentary. Also, I completely agree with judging albums by their covers (most of the time) and trust that I will like them if the cover looks cool. Gunship would be an example *couldn't find image that didn't take up the whole screen.*

On another note, I'm not a fan of Guns n Roses, and Nirvana is a wee bit overrated.

My username on the left of the video is reason enough.
