**** those losers.
It's the other members of his original band I feel sorry for: what about "The Corner"? "The Straight Line" and "The Curve"? Just dumped them all to go find fame with U2. Bastard. I hear they're ekeing out a living playing in subways these days. Sad.

Two of the most phenomenal rock performances I've seen in the last 30+years were U2. Their set during Live Aid in 85 was second only to Queen. And months after 9/11 they blew the ****ing roof off during the 2001 Super Bowl halftime show. All ages, all races, all creeds, were moved that night by U2. A perfect band aid.

Not trying to sway you Frowny. Just wondering why you brush their entire career aside so easily.

I can’t lie. I LOVED that halftime show.

It’s still fun to hate U2 even if they don’t really deserve it. I saw the Unforgettable Fire show and, I mean, let’s be real, it was really good. Even after the concert thousands of people stayed in the arena waving white flags and singing their songs. We watched the crowd go bonkers for at least 20 minutes after the lights were turned on and it wasn’t really dying down when we left.

I’m still too cool to like them though.

Oh, and All That You Can't Leave Behind is a great album. Other than that, I don't really care. I downloaded Songs of Innocence more out of a case of "why not" than really wanting to; God knows when or even if I'll ever listen to it.
Don't it's unmitigated garbage.

That's kind of what I expected, but I'll probably listen and make up my own mind. I mean, people say ATYCLB was a **** album but I loved it, so who knows? You're forgetting to take into account my legendary lack of taste.

I'm sure that you can understand why I'm not up to speed on Edge trivia.

No compromise. Both are garbage. Hell, they hardly even amount to garbage.

For a band you hate and don't care about you sure are posting a lot about them. Kinda like a spurned dude who can't shut up about the chick who dumped him.

You misunderstand. I don't care about your opinion on them, Chula. I care about music in general enough to talk about any band. It's just that "well I like em" is pretty meaningless point to make to me.

So going by your "logic", I take it that you're a huge fan of my shish kabob video?
