The ****ty mix sounds delicious and I wouldn't have it any other way. I've said it before but the fact that the noise sounds like it comes from another room leaves the actual level of loudness to the imagination

I don't know, every time I've listened to it, it sounds pretty ****ing loud to me, and I don't think it's my imagination.

Some parts of it sound like it's coming from another room, and other parts sound like Ron Asheton's amplifier is on top of my head.

The Iggy mix is the one I grew up with, the one that I love. I wouldn't trade that for anything. It was the first album I ever blared out of my car speakers after I got my license. It'll always have a special place in my heart...but still, what would it sound like if the mix was optimal in a technical sense? I imagine someone else will take a crack at it eventually right? This isn't one of those albums where the masters have been lost, I don't think, so one would think it's inevitable

You know, I don't even know what I hated about Austen, but whenever I was assigned her material, I remember hating it.

She made Harold Bloom's Western Canon list. Maybe I should try again. What do you recommend? He listed:

Pride and Prejudice
Emma
Mansfield Park
Persuasion

Emma is my favourite but if you want the most representative Jane Austen book you should maybe pick Pride and Prejudice

I don't think I do. I also think I've read P&P before and that lead to my hatred. I'll try Emma then.

Shakira, Kelly Clarkson, The Sugarbabes, Christina Aguilera and Beyonce are all better than any Death Metal band.

I much prefer seeing Usher do some dance move to watching some fat old punk singer sweat and look angry or perhaps constipated on stage.

U2 and Coldplay may be pretty mediocre, but the Rolling Stones are even more so.

Apart from the Beatles, most music before funk sounded pretty lame in comparison to what has come since and is certainly over-rated (even Elvis and Led Zepellin).

"****" should be an official genre for music which overrides all other factors. Bands like Nickleback, Creed, JJ72, Cast, etc. should automatically be categorised as such, to stop them from polluting other sections. Obviously, **** boy/girl band music won't be included because that would take up too much room in the **** section.
If you weren’t called “don’t run me over” I’d have the car revving by now

I had nothing against Interpol until I learned Steven Crowder is a fan.

I like their first album, I didn't know anyone even gave a sh*t about anything they've done after Antics.
