In the chris cornell episode of the marc maron show, he said that when Soundgarden was starting out people would say "You sound like Zeppelin in a good way" because at that point (early to mid 80s?) Zeppelin was known for Coda, and the kimonos and weird **** like that.

I don't know when their image got rehabbed, but growing up no one ever said bad things about them. And in my 20s a Whole Foods cashier asked me "Did you know Zeppelin stole all their songs?" I guess it comes and it goes.

I'm sort of getting into Radiohead for the first time since OK Computer. Nude, Jigsaw falling into place. I've seen some basement videos (is it a series). They're certainly not my favorite band ever, but why do you think they're ****?
