Yeah but it's remastered to not sound like butt also I'm not much of a bootlegger, at least not that kind.

in general, I think I just don't like Zorn
Yeah I'd figure the very prominent metal influence wouldn't be your thing.

This lineup went on to release some albums as Naked City. I'd say that Torture Garden is their platonic ideal, it's like playing with a radio dial. They're pretty diverse beyond the genre rollercoaster method and have a pretty rewarding discography.

I love Dio, but he is a garbage lyricist. Like comically bad. And not because he writes cheesy fantasy lyrics because he doesn't actually write fantasy lyrics, he uses fantasy imagery in the form of tortured metaphors to talk about ... empowerment? Life lessons? I don't even know cause his lyrics are stream-of-conscious gibberish that I'm sure he thinks are deep but are actually brain dead.

Another one about Naked City: I'd have preferred Mike Patton to Yamantaka Eye as the vocalist. Yes, Eye is a fine vocalist and yes, Patton is a bit of an overrated douche but I think Patton would have brought a bit more variety to the vocals, Eye is often too one note.

Admittedly, the last was with Blackmore, but given how "real-world" Rainbow's lyrics became after he left, you have to assume 90 percent of this was Dio.
