^ i was relying on wikipedia for my credits haha (i made a HORRIBLE mistake in 2003 when i moved to another city and tossed just about ALL my cd cases and booklets, and just kept the discs in binders instead lost at least 200-250 albums worth of liner notes).

and no Superunknown is not my favourite - Ultramega OK is. not specifically because it's their first album and some bogus 'debuts are always the best' BS, but because there's a rawness that never replicates itself on their subsequent releases.

i say both albums come from the same 'place' because they both sound like bands that just click perfectly together at those moment and exploit each others talents to their fullest potentials. plus i like Hiro's bass leads a lot. it's not that the other albums are bad, but Hiro wasn't happy during Louder than Love and it shows, Badmotorfinger is a new band finding its legs, and Down on the Upside is just going through the motions after having reached 'that' place again with Superunknown.

Oh man, I feel for you, I would regret that for sure. I have a friend that did the exact same thing a long time ago. Being more of a pack-rat myself, I won out at the time by taking near 100 of his album (CD) empty cases with liner notes. They do take up space but it's worth it to have the liner notes of albums I love - funny that the music media itself has less value.

yeah funny how it's the 'extras' that are valuable haha. i only wish i had friends like you who would have salvaged that stuff. a few said they thought about it but no one did anything. yay burnouts

I like a lot of songs on "In Utero" better remixed then Steve Albini-ed. And I WORSHIP Steve Albini.
His "Heart Shaped Box" kicks exponential amounts of ass though.

Buffalo Springfield are fantastic.
The Eagles are great in small doses.

I don't really like 'Heart Shaped Box', I think it is one of the worst on In Utero...

Ronseal? He thinks they were one of the worst bands to come out of the 90s... Even though they were late 80s but meh.

Out of ALL of the bands who performed in the 90s, they were one of the worst?
