Runaway 08-16-2004 11:08 AM

Darkness by Disturbed is a must if you're after sad songs.

Jonah 08-16-2004 07:06 PM

Go to www.Amandaspiano.com and listen to the songs that are available. You will love her voice.

Spike*Spiegel 08-16-2004 11:00 PM

never thought disturbed would make something so soulful. ty!

Gatorchong 08-18-2004 10:11 PM

I don't know if you like country, but "Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisley is a pretty sad song. Worth checking out.

Runaway 08-21-2004 01:54 PM

Glad you liked it Spike, its fantastic isnt it. I could listen to it all day, every day..

Spike*Spiegel 08-21-2004 11:14 PM

i know what u mean. :) what other music do you listen to? (just curious, i figure youve got good taste since you suggested that song)

Runaway 08-22-2004 01:56 AM

Ok let me see, its very varied.
Linkin Park, Manic Street Preachers, H.I.M, Fuel, Disturbed, Korn, Green Day, Muse, Saliva, Sevendust, Marilyn Manson, Garbage, Pink..... (and a lil bit of Avril Lavigne if I'm honest :yikes: )

Spike*Spiegel 08-22-2004 02:40 PM

lol its ok. i like a little bit of her music too. just not too much. youre more of the rock scene then, eh.

Runaway 08-23-2004 08:16 AM

Yeah definitely. My boyfriend is a good influence. He introduced me to Disturbed, Fuel, and Sevendust.
I do like the odd bit of pop occasionally. Its like your usual diet is of well prepared steak or something but sometimes you just want a bite of MacDonalds .

Spike*Spiegel 08-24-2004 12:21 AM

hah thats a good analogy. Pop can be trashy but once in a while its nice to hear. Disturbed is my favorite to listen to when im all pissed off and driving around. Deftones are good for that, too :) If you wanna smile, download "Sorry About That" or "Radio" by Alkaline Trio. Judging from the music you listen to, I think you'd really like Radio, its more sad but it'll make you smirk at the same time.

teenager7x 08-24-2004 09:01 PM

these songs are really great- I dont know about disturbed--never have liked them but ill check them out. Elliott Smith is a really good musician to check out if you're looking for depressing music- try Elliott Smith : Waltz #1

Anarchy doll 04-06-2005 06:47 PM

well, when I am depressed I usually listen to some Distillers or Hole or the Kills or something that is feminine and inspirational, but my dirty little secret is that every once and awhile, I will throwon some Jewel.

SATCHMO 04-06-2005 06:53 PM

Check out the link for Lowpulse in the promotions forum. If they don't make you want slit your wrists with a pair of rusty hedgeclippers nothing will.

Anarchy doll 04-06-2005 06:55 PM

that was very creative...I sometimes worry about you man....
