(The 'Stairway to Heaven' of the '80s) 90s - Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun (lyrics are better then the non-sensical lyrics of 'smells like teen spirit') 00s - Evanescence - Bring me to life (encapsulates newer-ish genres like nu-metal, rap-rock, and also a renewed interest in goth all in one tune) |
