Arrow Songs you associate things with

Do you associate certain times in your life with songs? Is / are there songs that remind you of something in particular that you went through or experienced?

I have loads.....

Push it, Garbage - my first car

I am the mob, Catatonia - song i was playing when I hit a pedestrian in my car. Ironic eh?

Stand by me, Oasis - college

Teen spirit / Come as you are, Nirvana - walking around the streets in the rain with my ex listening to a walkman we were sharing (he wasnt allowed in the house)

Anything by early Manic Street Preachers - my goth self loathing phase

Special, Garbage - my first and current full time job

Follow, Sevendust - the first song my bf (he just signed up by the way - "Disturbed1" ) suggested I listen to when we first met (he introduced me to alot)

Anything by Disturbed - soundtrack to our dating

So Far Away, Staind - when Dave moved in with me

warrent - cherry pie: driving around at night with my friends blaring this song following two a guy who speeds up when he gets lost and runs yellow lights so we're stuck flooring it trying to get through before the red and being very unsucsessful.

love shack: first time i met my ex (at a party with drunken kareokee )

the cure - love song: first time my ex said I love you (during the ending credits of 50 first dates which we had been watching before)

anything by manson: when I first got my liscence

Jimmy eat world - get it faster: first time I landed a 360

britney spears - I'm a slave for you: volleyball games (for some unknown reason the girls on my team ALWAYS played this song durring our warm ups for games)

I have a few...just a matter of remembering them all hehe

Ode to my Car ~ Adam Sandler ...my car was a total piece of ****e =/
Amazed ~ Lonestar when my bf and I started dating..every time we got on the phone this song came on the radio..
Motorcycle Drive By ~ Third Eye Blind ...an old crush would sing this to me..cuz I was taken at the time and he wanted to come visit.
Truly Madly Deeply ~ Savage Garden ...same crush as above sang that to me too
No Easy Goodbye ~ South Sixty Five ...when my ex-husband and I split up..this was the song I played for him.

Thats all I can think of at the moment.....

some other ones:

kc and jojo - crazy: my first bf (got together at a junior high dance and that song was playing, ahhh so long ago)

jewel - foolish games: another ex of mine (that relationship was a gong-show)

eve 6 - think twice: same ex as above (he was really the jeolous type, and my best friend heard that song and said that it reminded her of my ex)

3rd strike - hold on: skiing, for some reason that song always gets me pumped

bob marley - jammin; bob dylan - stuck in the middle with you; blur - song 2: week long sailing trip in junior high, we had a really great sterio system on our boat with surround sound and everything, and we played these songs alot

finch - what it is to burn: a good friend of mine, we met at a party when he started playing this song on our friend's accoustic, then I started singing, and pretty soon we had 4 other people grabbing guitars and playing along and everything (the guy holding the party has 3 accoustics and 2 electrics)

led zeppelin - stairway to heaven: playing guitar (this was the first solo I ever learned, and it's my favorite song to play)

louis armstrong - what a wonderful world: my grandma (they played it at her funeral, it was always her favorite song and suited her personality so much)
