Underrated: Spectrum/Sonic Boom

I love both bands to death, but I've always felt Spiritualized had the limelight more than Spectrum ever would. I really like Pete's later stuff, but Jason's recent stuff has become a bit stale.

Overrated: Lou Reed, Bruce Springsteen (Springsteen is ok, but not a legend)
Underrated: Harry Nilsson, Jim Croce (Both should've been bigger than they were.)

Default Overrated Musicians and Vocalists.
These artists can be good for what they do but can be put on a pedestal not deserved.

Guitarist: Jimi Hendrix. It's not my intention to offend anyone but I find his music unlistenable.

Bass: Flea

Drums: John Bonham. He is my favorite drummer but he is nowhere near the greatest of all time.

Vocalist: Paul McCartney.

Give me your list.
