List your favorite songs that Emotional effect you.(inspire, depress, motivate, etc.)
Persoanlly my favorite songs are the ones that strike an artistic or emotional chord in me (Anger-Love). There is nothing I HATE more than meaningless, pointless, formulated cliche music. Having said that here is my list of few.
No order 1. TOOL- Lateralus (MIND blowing lyrics with a amazing sound) 2. Pearl Jam- Black (Truely a depressing song ) 3. A perfect Circle- The Noose (Just...WOW. hear it for yourself) 4. Bad Company- Ready for Love (classic) 5. Led Zeppelin- Stairway to heaven (Need I say More) 6. Led Zeppelin- Dazed and Confused (makes me want to eat acid and dance in circles) 7. Primus- Welcome to this world (makes me think I am on acid) 8. Coldplay- Trouble (This song truely opened my eyes while I was on acid and It is one I will never forget) 9. Beasti Boys- Sabatoge-( I feel like shooting a cop and start a major gun fight) 10. Bob Marley- Redemption song & Natural Mystic (genius) 11. Deftone- Passenger (amazing use of a meataphor) 12. EMINEM- Till I Collapse ( HELL YEAH) 13.Gorillaz- Dont get lost in heaven (live version) (wow) 14. 311- Beyond the grey Sky 15. Lamb of God- Laid to rest (KILL EVERYONE) 16. Devil Driver- ENd of the line (makes me want to kick some in throat) 17. Mudvayne- Dig (self explanatory) 18. Ministry- RIO GRANDE BLOOD (KILL BUSH) 19.NIN- Wretched ( living nightmare) 20. PInk FLOyd- Great gig in the sKy ( tragic beauty) 21. The DOORs- When the musics over/ The End/ People are Strange (Jim Morrison= GENIUS) Thats my short list, I know I forgot alot. BUT if I was to write all of them down yall will have nothing to add to it

Unkle - Rabbit in your headlights.(Psyience Fiction) Once you've seen the film clip, this song gets even more inspirational.
At the end of Depeche Mode's Blue Dress (Violator), the ooohhh, ooohhh stuff, I love it. David Bowie - Within You (Labyrinth Soundtrack) It's so wonderfully painful. I'll come back to this one.

Emiliana Torrini - "If You Go Away": This song always makes me think about the exact same thing every time. A long time ago a friend sent it to me and told me they had been listening to it as they went to sleep for the past few weeks at the time, and to my surprise, they were doing so and thinking about me.
Lucero - "The War": I don't know why or how, but just the entire structure of the song somehow ends up being so moving. The Smiths - "How Soon is Now?": I knew I wouldn't be able to make any sort of list like this without mentioning this song. Saves the Day - "Firefly": This, like the first song, is another situational one. It always reminds me of the incident that happened when I first heard it. Straylight Run - "Existentialism on Prom Night": So I'm a total sucker for songs like this. Thought Riot - "On Friends and Mistakes": Sparked my love affair with music. Senses Fail - "Angela Baker and My Obsession with Fire": Okay, so usually when somebody suddenly shifts from singing into complete screaming, I don't pay much attention to it, but the final minute or so of this song always gets me for some reason.

I could not even begin to approach this thread. There is so much music out there that inspires a multitude of emotions within me. Maybe it should have been narrowed down into :Favourite love song/ angry song/ best riff etc.
An idea for a thread perchance....

You dont have to list every songs that makes you feel. Just list some of your favorites. Also doin that should have more responses since everyone is bound to leave out a couple of amazing songs.
