Rilo Kiley - Under the Blacklight

It's definitly a more 'poppy' sound and a breakaway from my favourite album of theirs (More Adventurous) but not too greatly. Lewis's voice is as ever wonderful and the lyrics still have that story like quality which I love in Rilo Kiley.

Fifteen, Silver Lining, Smoke Detector and Dreamworld are notable mentions.

There's supposed to be a new Sugababes album out today and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on that. I haven't fallen in love with the latest single and I don't like the new girl but I have a feeling Change will be as good as Taller In More Ways.

I've heard of them, but they're only big in the UK right?

I think so... are you in America? I don't think they've even tried to make it big there yet.

Ahhh, cool. I'll be able to ask you about popular music in America sometime, then. I always assume that we've got the same stuff as you have over there but it's probably quite different.

Yah, I keep up with the UK top 10. Right now it's Britney Spears, Soulja Boy, Kanye West, Timbaland, Nickelback...You get the idea.
