I've never found an album I could buy that I couldn't download. It's usually easier for me to find it online than in a store.

I buy my CDs and I wouldn't have it any other way... I love having a huge a physical collection and not a file full of mp3s.

There's nothing like walking into a friend's room and finding stacks and stacks of well-loved CDs to have a look through. It's not so fun just looking at a load of titles on a computer screen.

Don't you get satisfaction out of looking at your computer screen and seeing a ridiculous amount of songs and playlists? Or the look on your friends faces when they see your massive collection. Or when they see Radiohead and go "who the **** are they?", and you laugh and say just the biggest rock band in the world.

I don't think I've ever known a person who doesn't know who Radiohead are.

No, I think stacks and stacks of CDs look far more impressive, especially when you see that a person's gone out of their way to get hold of some harder-to-find albums.

Definately downloading. I haven't purchased a CD in years. Besides, in the tiny town I live in, the 1-2 music shops we have stock mainstream crap, and mainstream crap only. Anything I listen to would require being ordered in, which I can't be assed doing/waiting for.

15min download > 2 week wait

Also, the fact I don't own a CD/record player means they'd be useless to me. I'd encode them once to the PC, then they'd sit and gather dust...

I dunno, I have this weird thing about buying cds/records. Yes, I do download, but there is something about owning a hard copy of it.

Thats dumb to say. There is a great point. To support and help the bands you like.

I download everything except my favorite bands i really like and care about. I buy everything from websites or store. And i am glad to do so.
