The fake sincerity was nauseating.
Bono is the new Bin Laden.
It would have been bad enough without Ja Rule and Nelly but they added that extra pinch of sh*ttiness.

And who ever thought it was a great idea to let Fred Durst of all people wrap up the song should be put on trail.

The original song itself is just as relevant today as it was in 71, especially in the wake of the Iraq war.

Nas provided the only decent moment.

I read that they wanted Radiohead to participate in this.

Thom Yorke and Fred Durst recording in the same room together would have been hilarious.

Anyway this (Durst free) remix version is a little better.

I still think they would have saved some money if they just dug out Marvin's corpse and gang raped it.

Thanks for the video links...one of the funniest things about the video(besides Durst) is: Jennifer Lopez & Puff Daddy are in it, you know, b/c they're such credible artists. Man, Christina Aguilera's got some pipes on her, I love her voice.

Related to the recent Kerrang covers CD, i nominate this.

Sign - Run To The Hills

When it came on i was gobsmacked, i looked like someone who'd just seen the video in The Ring
