One of the few comps out there to eschew an ass licking/commercial mentality regarding Old School Hip Hop. Fantastic compilation.

Blame Urban! This is much better than it's reputation suggests. A damn fine Hard Rock/Metal album that is as fun as it is important.

Ridiculously brilliant Krautrock album.

Forget what they become. This is one damn fine Hard Rock album.

^I think i've said a few times here that i like "some" Motley Crue and basically what i mean is that record.

Maybe a few other bits and pieces but mainly that record. And looking at the condition that vinyl cover is in, that could actually be my copy of it.

Tonight seemed like the Perfect night for a bit of Life Is Killing Me by Type O Negative... great album!

Dead Can Dance - Within the Realm Of a Dying Sun

^ Re my DCD obsession of the last few weeks. Definitely among my favourites of theirs. The opener, Anywhere Out Of the World is already one of my favourite pieces of music ever ever ever

Haha. Strangely enough I just got Dr. Feelgood last week on a whim. I was actually thinking of getting Shout at the Devil next.

I became aware of this about a month ago, but haven't heard it. Going to grab it now.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I finally got that one, really good album. I was afraid it would sound too similar to Forever Changes, but not at all. Maybe the first 2 tracks have the same feel on the surface, there's so much other things going under... and finally the epic 19 minutes "Revelation", just great.

I pushed myself to download some McCartney, and the first one I got is RAM, as Bulldog suggested. The album all in all is really enjoyable, easy on the ears, with some track that just jump to your attention.
My favorite Tracks: Ram On - Uncle Albert/Admiral Hasley - Monkberry Moon Delight - Long Haired Lady

It's a shame that man doesn't work much on his lyrics. He's a really good pop-song writer, but he never tries to scratch his head on some good lyrics.

^ Ram is pretty damn cool stuff eh. Dumbarse lyrics, but the music makes up for that with me. Good choices of favourite tracks too (despite the failure to mention Smile Away ).

^ Midnight Oil's Earth and Sun and Moon, the third in a trilogy of absolutely superb albums that I'd recommend to anyone, this one finds them taking the more anthemic and melodic direction that they started with Diesel and Dust to its fullest extent. Quite possibly my favourite of their albums this. Now Or Never Land and Feeding Frenzy are two of those songs that simply everyone needs to hear.
