Shame there's not a lot of T-Rex live stuff out there because he's really on form for this gig. This was recorded shortly before his death when he was in the midst of a rather decent comeback. I believe the Damned were his support act for this gig.
What I would have given to have been there.

I likes The Knife, and trip hop, so I may give that a listen meself. The youtube vid was pretty good.

Yeah, it's a good one that. Strangely enough, the only T-Rex I actually have is his live stuff. If you haven't got Born To Boogie already, that's definitely one to look out for. I'd offer to upload if you needed it, but I lost my copy ages ago.

David Bowie - The Buddha Of Suburbia OST

Anyone who thinks Bowie's output went to shit after Let's Dance, listen to this album. As colourful, finely-textured and...well... good as any of Bowie's best work. If it weren't for the album closer (the title track with a lame guitar solo added to spoil it), this'd be my favourite of his albums....maybe.

I remember watching The Buddha Of Suburbia when it was aired.
Been meaning to buy it on DVD for ages.

I believe it was the guy who plays Sayid from Lost in his first ever lead role.

Today it was all about Devin Townsend and his magnificent Ki album... perfect companion to a rainy day...

Today for some unknown reason I was really digging indie rock...

Vampire Weekend's self titled album is a great listen. Shame I didn't really listen to it before, I missed out for a long time.

Arcade Fire's Funeral has quickly become a favorite, for some reason I didn't give it much of a chance before. Scottsy finally persuaded me talking about them all the time in here that there must be something to them, and he was right.

The best album by one of the most interesting bands of the last decade.

They somehow figured it out, made music very unlike anyone else, that just really clicks with me. The Invitation is definitely one of the greatest songs ever written.
