Tawk Tomahawk - Hiatus Kaiyote

I usually don't listen to an album more than twice a month, let alone soul. I have listened to this three times over and over. What can say? What an imaginative, eclectic, creative fusion piece of work. So many subtle influences makes for a complex piece yet sounds so simple and just gorgeous. Nai Palm hits some different vocal ranges from what you'll hear usually with soul. I'm done describing. Love this album.

Hard to pick just one track because this works better as a whole album.

Side note: I really need to move to Melbourne, most of the fantastic acts I know are from there.

Pusha T - My Name Is My Name
I'm pretty late to this album but damn it is really good, especially the opening track 'King Push'. I don't know what it is but Pusha T rapping about being a drug dealer just never seems to get old.

Truly disliked that album.

Really into Flyleaf (self titled album) right now.
Don't think there's a bad song on it and the acoustic of Cassie is absolutely beautiful. Red Sam is also a favorite of mine.

Is it real emo though?

You know when you discover a band and you just enter that honeymoon phase where you can't stop listening? I have had these three albums for literally like two years and only listened to a few songs on shuffle, in the past week I think I have listened to each about twenty times. Possibly a perfect trilogy of albums. I think There's Nothing Wrong With Love is my favourite but 'Carry The Zero' from Keep It Like A Secret might just be one of the best songs I have ever heard.

3 of my favorite albums, indeed an incredible trilogy.

Their 4th best. Incredible songs but it's just not as potent as the previous 3 IMO.

This album was in my top 5 best albums of 2013. There is only one song on the album that messes with the flow of it.

The one with Kelly Rowland, right?
It's just so damn out of place. I might delete it, and just play the rest of the album.
