All That Remains - Overcome (2008)

To my surprise, I haven't actually properly listened to All That Remains. This is dope.

ANOHNI - Hopelessness

This is really really solid. Surprised I didn't hear it until this week.

40 Watt Sun - Wider than the Sky

So this is two of the dudes from Warning (bomb ass doom metal band if you haven't heard them yet, highly recommend) getting together and throwing down a handful of 10+ minute slowcore tracks that are heavily inspired by their doom-y past. I feel like this should be boring and not for me but instead it's incredibly crafted atmospheric bliss.

I really want to like 40 Watt Sun, but they are for me what you expected them to be.

hmmm really like Warning and I think I'm generally ok with slowcore so that intrigues me. plus long tracks = good

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
