A French guy who makes instrumental hip-hop. This album is a lot of short songs (Dilla style) and the music is similar to early RZA - extremely dirty beats and lots of sampling of Eastern music. Also, he uses quite a bit of vocal samples that sound something like classical Asian opera. If you're into those sorts of things this'll definitely get your attention.

Been listening to Elvis Costello like a mad bastard today(the same 2 albums on a loop), in particular Armed Forces.

^ Listen to Imperial Bedroom if you're digging him. Different from his other stuff but really good imo

Bleh :/ Right now it's "OK Computer" by Radiohead. Does anyone know Radiohead well enough to suggest which of their albums I should buy next ? :)

I would have started with The Bends but if you've skipped that stage I'll just agree with sidewinder and say Kid A. After that The Bends, and then all I own is Hail To The Thief, which is probably not the next step. Maybe Amnesiac followed In Rainbows, then HTTT. Then Pablo Honey last

Silent Hill OST's 1 and 2 by Akira Yamaoka

SOundtracks for the horror Playstation 2 titles, the music is worth checking out despite its soundtrack status. Filled with a bit of rock, a bit of industrial, a bit of this, a bit of that, its an entertaining listen in my opinion.

I think it all depends on your music tastes. I used to despise Kid A but i really like it now. If you would prefer Radiohead wielding guitars then go for The Bends, if you can handle the guitars being traded in for the electronica then yeah, Kid A.

i still remember playing a demo of Silent Hill that came with Metal Gear Solid when i got it for a birthday, the music and atmosphere at that time was the full package, made an impression
The music from the first two Resident Evils were effective as well, not as warped as silent hill perhaps but memorable
