The title track is his most played song on Spotify but it’s from the reissue just titled Don Cherry.

Idk why I was underwhelmed by this when I first heard it, I must have been in a bad mood at the time because this ****'s amazing.

kraut/math rock that's liable to explode harder than you may be able to handle

The Mercury Tree - Spidermilk (2019)

I missed this gem last year, which is unfortunate. Proggy, avant-garde pop rock with a strong emphasis on microtonality. This thing is so cyclopean at times that it makes King Crimson sound like the Backstreet Boys in comparison.

Collab between members of Seefeel and Loops Haunt. Really nice textures in here.

Discovering this right now. Man this is awesome

I know, I'm really ignorant when it comes to genres I haven't explored. Makes it the more funny and pleasant when I suddenly discover them

Heard that sister

Idgaf how much anyone thinks they know about music everyone has huge gaping holes of knowledge. I’m always listening to **** wondering how the **** did I not know. And I’m not quite as well-hung as elph but what do you care about penis sizes? Not at all.

Somehow I never paid attention to this particular Art Zoyd album.
Too bad, since it's imo their best.
****ing badass, evil, avantproggy modern classical.
No drums, but rhythmic af.
Do we have active rec threads? I want to unleash this on some unsuspecting mofo.

You're too lame to enjoy anything beyond building blocks for your lame identity anyway.

They religiously clung to a genre that had already run its natural course at the expense of other good music, they followed a dress code, and they identified with each other as if they were part of a subculture.

Not sure why elph goes for something just because they throw in a fuzz pedal once in awhile.

I ain't gunna lie, I don't normally like her or spoken word poetry in general but that album was just beautiful. Came off genuine when it usually comes off forced. I dunno, it was weird.

Anteater 04-01-2020 08:59 AM

Reminds me of the Mystery Diners episode where they covered "Slam Poetry Night" in Austin.

I liked Let Them Eat Chaos. The cringy pathos was balanced with badass beats, good flows and some nice characters and observations.
The follow up had none of the flow and the beats and the cringe became overwhelming.

Marie Monday 04-01-2020 10:31 AM

It felt genuine to me too. At least, it managed to move me

Been obsessed with The Dillinger Escape Plan for the last few months.

I made a playlist of some favorites for a friend, hope you like it.

For some reason they've been copyright striking Honeysuckle uploads, so I couldn't include it unfortunately.

I’m still keeping this one in rotation. Not so sure it would be Exo’s cup of tea anymore. I actually think it might be more up Ant’s alley.
