I dug out a bunch of CDs I don't think I've listened to in well over a decade.

Mock all you like, I bet I had more fun listening to this than you did listening to all your po-faced indie-folk dreck.

Max Richter - Infra

Gorgeousness! I'd probably listen to it on the same type of day I'd listen to Le Lendemain's Fires : dark and rainy.

Is it better than Blue Notebooks?

Hmm.. its hard to say. Blue Notebooks was more emotive and sounded like it was made for a CD. This was used as background music for a ballet so it doesn't sound very interpersonal. Not that that's a bad thing, just that it sets them apart. But when all is said and done I think I like this one slightly more.

EDIT: On another blogspot someone says it's for a documentary? Well, at any rate, it wasn't made to be an outright CD. But it is now, and it's fantastic.

DOOM - Unexpected Guests (2009)

Wow... does this album ever make up for the lackluster Born Like This. Some great collaborations, awesome beats, some more unconventional instruments used and some really good lyrics. Anyone who likes DOOM needs to get this.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
