Jaguar Wright - Divorcing Neo 2 Marry Soul
Jaguar Wright has a very confident attitude that shows in her voice. Her vocals are not over the top and doesn't have to be. She can sing and doesn't need to create an illusion of talent.

Miles Davis - Sketches of Spain

This is the single best Miles Davis album I've ever heard, way way better than Birth of the Cool, Bitches Brew, etc. I'm still blown away by it, it is so good.

bought on CD (how quaint) when it came out and it's been haunting the recesses of my consciousness for 4 years. Downloading the second album now, can't wait
