If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

Glad to see some more Driveshaft and Geronimo Jackson fans.

Coincidentally enough I listened to that Kraftwerk album earlier today.

No matter how many album covers of Kraftwerk's I've seen it always looks like they've just finished a nice long orgy.

Although German pop music has been to far, far worse places:

Amazing Noise Rock album from Amazing noise rock band Lightning Bolt. Sheer intensity and musical nonsense! Listen with an open mind!
I love both these albums. I don't really think of "The Greatest Gift" as particularly lo-fi but it's certainly pretty damn raw.

Tom Ze - Estudando o Samba

Brazilian tropicalia music with a bit of weirdness! It's a bit kiddish at times, but even that adds to the experience. Most of it is against what 'melody' stands for. Give this man garbage, and he'll still make music out of it . I'll be happy if anyone could translate these Portuguese lyrics. I've found only a few here and there so far

I love Tom Ze! Only a "Best OF" album by him though. When is this one from?

This one's a 70s release, I think 1976?
His earlier releases didn't impress me all that much, but this one definitely did! Weird thing is, I keep coming back for more . Let me know if you need it.
