^ Great album, but it sure could use a remaster.

Dream Syndicate's Medicine Show, got the redux. Very bright sounding and polished compared to Days of Wine and Roses. Regardless, Steve Wynn gives a great vocal performance, the guitars still ring true, plus it's got "John Coltrane Stereo Blues".

the later Whitehouse is so much more structured than their early stuff...great album...i suggest Bird Seed ('Why You Never Became A Dancer' is such a great song)and Right To Kill (as an example of their earlier "sound")

Spiritual Front - Rotten Roma Casino

Spiritual Front's fourth album really goes off the deep dark end of typical neo-folk military pop music and straight into noir pop....or self proclaimed 'Nihilistic Suicide Pop'

this entire album is a delightful journey into the dirty corners of the mind but unlike previous releases is riddled with simple fun upbeat pop melodies...adding a great playfulness intermixed with the dark music and somewhat transgressive lyrics...with just enough dark folk/cabaret to maybe keep the old fans happy.....

there seems to be a lot of argument among fans as to whether this is gold or or worthless....personally i think it's pure gold....and the best they've released yet

video for "Darkroom Friendship" (may not be suitable)
Spoiler for Darkroom Friendship:

Thanks for the suggestion, right now I have only one other person feeding me Whitehouse info.

Rip Rig + Panic - Attitude

A disappointingly over-looked band from the early 80s featuring ex members of The Pop Group with Nenah Cherry on vocals.
It's jazzy, it's funky and Cherry's vocals give it a really soulful edge that 99% of post punk bands would kill for.
It's a shame they're virtually forgotten about now because they were quite successful in their time. they even appeared on an episode of The Young Ones.

A Broken Frame - Depeche Mode
This album is interesting because it was right after Vinnie Clark left and Alan Wilder came in and the transition between the first album and this is a slight off but in a good way.

Standing Next To Me (Single)- The Last Shadow Puppets
The song gas dance is outrageously good.

Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children

Haven't listened to BoC in over a year, and I'm really in the mood for it once again. It's perfect music to do something intellectual to (homework, some RTS game, you name it) as the music is just as smart and as ingrained in attention to detail as the thing you're doing. Needless to say, it accompanies a genius* like myself very well.

Age Sixteen- Open Up Finders, Please

It's a shame they broke up, they have a very similar sound to Suis La Lune (my favorite screamo band), amazing twinkly guitar work, very good vocals for the genre, just a very good album.

correct, sir. MHTRTC will forever have a special place in my heart.

I don't have many friends, either. I've always been a loner.

Crystal Fighters - Star of Love

Electronic insanity is all I have to say. If this video doesn't make you feel like you just munched on a mushroom sandwich, then you must be braindead.
