Helms Alee - Weatherhead (2011)

Sweet post-metal/post-hardcore album featuring ex-Harkonen and Roy vocalist/bassist Ben Verellen. There are some female vocals too. The album includes a few really nice spacey/stoney instrumental tracks. Nice flow so far.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Interesting, I think I'll have to look into that one. Thanks!

All Hail the Transcending Ghost - All Hail the Transcending Ghost

Dark ambient project involving the guy from Folkstorm and a guy from Switchblade. This is seriously dark, menacing, atmospheric stuff. Very much a mood album, not something I can see myself listening to often, but it is very affecting.

The Grateful Dead - Europe 72'
I've been digging on some jam bands recently. This may be my favorite live album. It's quiet a beast, no real weak tracks on here. The best way to listen to the Dead is live.

Yes, yes you should. I love Kevin Coyne as well but his material is ridiculously hard to find online. I scooped up as much of it as I could, there's not much more than dead links and bootlegs around. Which is a complete shame, he was a really prolific songwriter.

Dälek / Faust - Derbe Respect, Alder

A dream collaboration, and it doesn't disappoint. It's so good... so so good. Both sides bring an unflinching desire to transgress convention, and the outcome is a nuanced, deeply cerebral sonic assault.
