Babes in Toyland - Fontanelle
I dug this album out today and gave it a few listens. Man i love Kat Bjelland's voice on this, she's one of the best female grunge/punk vocalists ever.

I've had Evil Urges by MMJ in my truck for quite awhile and really love it. The Black Parade by MCR was my previous addiction.

Totally rediscovered my love for Crowded House's Temple of Low Men tonight... how could thoughts emotions and lyrics this twisted up, conflicted and angst ridden be packaged into such neat, listenable, GREAT pop songs. This album, in my opinion is a minor miracle...

N*E*R*D- Seeing Sounds
Great album, songs are catchy. Spazz is my favorite song on the album. Upbeat, spazztic, crazy, and just great. Sticks to original hip-hop methods, and incorporates rock, techno, among other genres. Great stuff.

I've had this for quite a while now and completley forgot i owned it, it didn't really catch me at first but right now it's reeeeally warming to me. It's ecclectic but not in an unforgiving way, there really are some truly gorgeous moments like the the little folk influences throughout.

Karmakanic - Who's the Boss in the Factory?

I like it better than most of the Flower Kings albums. Hope they do go on tour this year!

Astonishing. Sounds like the result of Frank Zappa emerging from a dungeon clutching a bunch of Metal albums. Takes a few listens but this pwns.

The Hawk is Howling - Mogwai

Reaklly love the way this album ebbs and flows.... actually seems less dark, more uplifting than some of their previous stuff, but this is no bad, the melodies are beautiful, the playing exquisite, the sound just perfect.... one of my regular listening favorites now...

Dir En Grey - Uroboros

How is it that a band so hyped and commercialized even outside their home country of Japan can continue to remain so eclectic and interesting? Very strong release here. It has all the beauty and harshness of their poppy take on metal and the J-Rock/Pop genres with lots of avant-garde twists...and I'm loving every minute of it. :)
