Priest =Aura is one amazing epic of an album... it covers so much ground and does it all so well, lyrically, musically... and then kicks you in the tail end of it with brilliance such as "Chaos"... still one of my all time fave long Church jam outs....

oops, forgot to add, tonight I am recovering some favorite old ground listening to Genesis "The Way We Walk" live albums... I am just a sucker for these songs and these performances of them. So bummed I missed the band on their more recent "turn it on again tour"...

Love and Rockets - Earth, Sun, Moon (1987)

i can't believe something born out of angular fury like Bauhaus could ever sound so organically beautiful. a wonderful collection of psychedelia, folk & soul embalmed in pure pop gloss. how marvelously corking.

On this album he plays with Eddie Vedder, Johnny Marr, Ed O' Brian (I think) from Radiohead, some lassie as well i cant rememeber the name of.

Top tracks:

An excellent version of the smiths classic by Neil Finn.

Probably the best tune he did solo:

Im still to check out Split Endz and some Tim Finn.
Wow my respect for you has dramatically increased! Tim and Neil Finn are quality NZ artists. I remember singing Four Seasons in One Day by Crowded House in front of my high school, those were the days!

Where are you from by the way? Or your mother? My dad was the one that got me into them as well because they were a generation before me.

Not an album but a two track split from these fellas:

Fantastic ambience with a hint of that Two Step that's so indicative of Burial. It's been on loop for an hour now.

I had a sneaky feeling you might have replied to this lol. I like Neil Finn's solo stuff more so than Crowded House. My mum was a big fan of them back in the day and there another group that I just grew up with. lol I can remember singing Robson & Jerome at one point in my living room(although I probably shouldnt have said that) when I was like 6 or something lol. We had this mic I remember..(I blame my mother) But yeah, Ive been meaning to get into some Split Endz and Tim Finn, which I have had downloading for a while now.

Also, I changed the question ^ to what I originally had 'misread' .
Response to question: No, my father was actually the one who gave birth to me, dont ask its a long story...
Response to real question: I come from Scotland, my Mum is half english and my dad is/was Scottish.
