Worst band on earth? (drum, rock, genre, quote, bands)

That was directed to Sainthood, but to answer your question, they are a mix of old and new, but all of them are REAL emo bands. And please, no arguing with me on what emo is, because I will destroy your MTV and AP magazine tuned brain.

Ahh..... I was referring to more the post-2000 "mainstream" acts more tailored to suit the audience.

As for the REAL emo bands, I won't argue with you. Unfortunately, I followed the crowd big-time in dubbing stuff like Fallout Boy, et al. as the only thing emo is..... these days.

My mistake.

....but despite all it, no I don't like MTV or whatnot.

There's a lot of good music out there, but yin has its yang.

No, I didn't call it that, if you're referring to me. I was guessing on behalf of gibsons86. In post 816 he called "emo the crappiest genre", and Les Paul asked which bands.

I guessed what I thought gibsons was referring to based on what I thought he meant.... I don't think "emo" is the worst genre, there's far worse music out there.

And I don't mind if you call me out by name rather than saying "someone" IF you were referring to me. I'm pretty secure in my "forum self-esteem" (for lack of a beter term) so being called out by name is cool by me.
